How do I know if my DB board is outdated?
Rewirable fuses, no earth leakage protection, a cracked or scorched enclosure and unlabelled circuits are all signs. An electrician can inspect it and tell you what is needed.
Will the power be off during the upgrade?
Yes, for part of the job, because the supply has to be isolated while the board is changed. We plan the work to keep the outage as short as possible.
Do I need a new board to add solar or an inverter?
Often the existing board needs changes, such as extra protection or a dedicated essential-loads board. We check this when we quote.
Will I get a Certificate of Compliance?
