Can I install a gas hob myself?
Gas connections should only be done by a qualified gas installer, and a certificate is required. Incorrect installation can cause leaks and fires.
Can you fit a hob into my new kitchen?
Yes. We coordinate with your kitchen installer so the gas point and cut-out are right.
Do I need ventilation?
Yes. Gas appliances need adequate ventilation and we check this at installation.
Does the stove work in load-shedding?
Most gas hobs can be lit with a match or lighter. Ovens may need electricity for the controls and ignition, so check the model.
